Introduction: Menodora africana is a very tough little shrublet with many slender branches that sprout from a perennial woody rootstock. It grows amongst the grasses and sometimes between rocks.Leaves are deeply divided into narrow segments. Solitary yellow flowers appear in spring.It has quite a long flowering season and will do well on a rockery.
