Functional genes

Functional genes include: biological functions, such as phosphorylation modification of specific proteins as protein kinases; Cytological functions, such as involvement in intercellular and intracellular signaling pathways; Developmental functions, such as participating in morphogenesis. The methods used include classical subtractive hybridization, differential screening, cDNA representative differential analysis, and mRNA differential display.
