Transcription factor

Transcription factor (TF), also known as trans-acting factor, is a DNA-binding protein that specifically interacts with cis-acting elements of eukaryotic genes and has an activating or inhibiting effect on gene transcription. The functional study of TF and its interacting factors is essential to understand their roles in the signaling cascade, providing a theoretical basis for basic research and production applications.
We used PlantTFDB (Tian et al., 2020) to predict 58 transcription factor gene families in 4 Oleaceae and obtained detailed information of the corresponding sequences by pfam, and a total of 12664 TF-related genes were obtained. More details can be viewed by Clicking into.
