Introduction: Noronhia battiscombei has small, yellow flowers with four petals. The seeds are tiny and black. The seedlings have a single cotyledon. It has a single stem with two to four leaves, and a single flower with a white corolla and yellow anthers. It grows in dry deciduous forests, at elevations of 500 to 1,000 meters.

Distribution: Native to Madagascar.
