The Oleaceae experienced the core eudicot common hexaploidization (ECH or gamma) event. Based on the homologous and paralogous regions identified within and between genomes, we isolated a set of homologous and paralogous lineages generated by species differentiation and polyploid events, and identified a set of event related genes.
